1950's Yorkshire Landscape in Oil by Brian Holmes
A very well painted vintage oil painting by the well known Yorkshire artist Brian Holmes (1933-2009). He studied at the Slade and was a brilliant fine artist, in 2003 he was asked to produce forensic drawings for a murder case, they Q.C. commmented that they were very fine drawings! Brian went on to exhibit around the world as well as teaching art. Many of his commisions are now displayed in public buildings and held in private collections. The thickly laid oils are well worked onto the canvas, super colours and atmosphere. Signed on the back in pencil by the artist and titled Houses on a Hillside. In excellent condition and datng from the late fifties.

Smaller items will be sent with a parcel courier. We wrap and book parcels in once a week on Thursdays. If you require an item quickly, please let us know and we can arrange this.
We can provide an overseas shipping service.

We offer a 14 day return service if you are not happy with the item. This is providing that items are returned within 14 days and are in the same condition that they left us in. The cost of returning the goods must be covered by you. We will refund you on the items return.
