A 1955 Rolex Oyster Perpetual wristwatch. A stainless steel case with screw down Rolex crown. A silvered dial with applied steel batons and Rolex logo to 12. A slightly domed case back, showing the progression on from the 'bubbleback' models of the 1940s. The case back inner is marked with the Rolex logo and the case reference. Case reference 6284. A 17 jewel caliber 645 automatic mechanism. Serial numbers date this watch to 1955.
