A 1958 gents Tudor Prince Oysterdate 34 automatic wristwatch. An off white dial gilt indices and Arabic numerals. A Tudor caliber 395 mechanism with 'butterfly' rotor. An Oyster case, reference 7914 with Rolex winding crown. A 'roulette' date wheel, showing through the aperture at 3 o'clock. This watch comes from a period which is regarded as Tudor's 'golden era', where the quality between them and their Rolex counterparts was at an all time high. The comparison was most notable in these Oyster models of the period.
