This coin marks the introduction of a new 50p coin which was first introduced in 1969.
The obverse design featuring the Queen is by Raphael Maklouf.
The reverse features Britannia designed by Christopher Ironside.
The coin weighs 16 grams and measures 27.3mm in diameter. The weight including the box is 109.1 grams.
Struck in sterling .925 silver.
Limited Edition of 10,000.
