19C Victorian walnut washstand chest of drawers
Antique late 19C Victorian (or possibly early 20C Edwardian) walnut washstand, chest of drawers or dressing table.
A nice heavy, quality piece of antique furniture with lovely proportions and styling.
Great age, colour and patina.
Quality oak lined drawers (plywood bottoms) that slide freely.
The marble top and back is not fixed to the base and so can be removed for transport.
This piece of antique antique furniture would look great in the right location, is attractive and aesthetically very pleasing.
Period castors with some wear.
Overall dimensions 1075mmW x 450mmD x 1500mmH (820mmH surface).
Historical knocks, marks, repairs and alterations as is usual for antique furniture. There is some historic scratching/marks to the top shelf and it apears that there may have been towel rails at the ends originally. There are no keys and the locks are untested.
Please note that this item is heavy. The customer will need to provide 1 able bodied person to assist our driver with carrying.
