Mid 19th C French Military Officer's Campaign Brandy Flask (Tonnelet)
Possibly Crimean War Period.
Traditionally made.
Wooden body barrel with cane reinforcing.
2 loops for shoulder strap.
Brass fitting on top turns and closes perfectly. Originally would have a small cork plug in the spout beneath the brass fitting. The fitting missing 1 small screw. Marked "PAD" as shown in a photo.
Bevelled glass end pieces in perfect condition.

Used but in very good condition.
