19th C French Sevres Bowl
We are selling this wonderful quality 19th Century Sevres platter / dish with bright turquoise background. The centre of the dish has a courting couple in a garden with two small children gathering baskets of flowers. The centre picture is edged with a gilt design and there are four panels of country scenes around the border of the dish. Underneath there is a blue sevres mark, number S49 and an impressed mark Se with impressed numbers 43 - 6 & 17.
Condition is good for its age, there is slight rubbing to the gilt edges but no more than you would expect to find on a piece of this age.
Measuring 18 1/2 inches in length, width 13 inches and depth 3 inches.
