A lovely early 19th-century George IV period two-tier mahogany server, sideboard, or dinner wagon, showcasing beautifully figured timber and exceptional craftsmanship. The piece features a rectangular moulded top over a solid mahogany shelf and two spacious drawers with large, turned brass handles. Baluster-turned supports add elegance, while the turned legs terminate in robust brass castors for easy mobility. The reverse side includes dummy drawers with brass handles, making this server ideal as a centerpiece in a room, as it is equally attractive from all angles. In excellent original condition, this piece dates to circa 1825. Perfect for use in a dining room, it offers a range of practical features: solid brass castors, ample storage in the drawers, a lower display shelf, and a top tier suitable for serving or staging desserts. Elegant in appearance and highly functional in design, this server is both a decorative and practical addition to any home.
