We are pleased to offer this 19th Century Japanese hand painted Bottle Vase Table Lamp and new pleated faux silk shade.

The Lamp features a Victorian Japanese bottle vase, hand painted with panels depicting figures in gardens, as well as flowers, bees etc. The vase is seated upon a quality polished bronze bulbous oriental 4 footed base and has similar ornamental capping at the top. The conversion to a table lamp took place many years ago.

The new shade is in ivory faux silk and a plain shade has been chosen to allow the base to shine.

The lamp has been completely rewired in pale gold braided fabric covered flex and has all new fittings including safer switched lampholder and plug. As with all electrical items it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.

Height to top of shade: 24 1/2" - 62.25cm

Diameter of shade: 14" - 35.55cm

Diameter of base: 6" = 15.25cm

Material: Porcelain

Condition: Very good in all respects save for a hairline crack to the neck of the reverse panel, which has had prior restoration to the interior, and which is shown in our photographs. The shade is new.
