19th C Victorian Period Bamboo Jardinière Planter 19th-century Victorian freestanding %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A very elegant late 19th-century Victorian freestanding rectangular bamboo jardinière, featuring cross-woven rattan panels and raised on swept legs joined by crossed stretchers. It includes the original removable green-painted metal liner. The jardinière boasts a superb patina, developed over years of use, with a deep chestnut-brown colour. Made in England, circa 1880–1900, the bamboo remains structurally sound, with some minor missing parts, but nothing serious. It is fully functional.
