19th Cent Mahogany 8 Day Long Case Clock

A pretty little typical West Country longcase clock by Nathaniel Edgecumbe, Bristol. He is listed as working there from 1826 to 1842.
The case is in nicely figured mahogany with ebony stringing. The arched hood has some nice carved detail, fluted columns and polished brass finials. Both the trunk door and base have decorative ebony inlay.
The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has subsidiary seconds dial and date indicator.
The case is in excellent, recently restored condition.
The movement looks to have been recently serviced, is in good working order and keeping good time.
The maximum dimensions are:
216cm (85") high (excluding finials + 11cm)
50cm (20") wide
25cm (10") deep
Free local delivery (50mls), national and international delivery arranged at cost.
