An unusual and attractive antique double chair with arms, from 19th century America. It has a strong design, with turned tapered uprights united by back bars, arm rests and lower rails. Fine pegged construction has maintained its structure. The twin seats are rushed. It has a great country appeal, in superb condition with a light wood warm colour. Probably from the New England area. Circa 1870
