A most attractive Kangxi style famille verte brush pot painted with a continuous scene of scholars, immortals and wildlife in an oriental landscape. This is depicted in typical green, iron red and underglazed blue enamels. A deer, symbolizing longevity, runs through the charming stylized scene. The condition is excellent, there are a few pitted marks within the glaze, these are frequently found in such pieces. Signed on the base.
