Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown, there is grazing to some of the cuts as expected with such a heavy piece.

Technical Description
A cut glass pedestal bowl. The bowl features vertical split cuts at the rim above field of crosscut diamonds and slice cutting. An angled blaze cut knop is featured on the stem. The piece is supported by a stepped square pedestal foot which is complete with a cross cut diamond base. The cutting style is associated with the Waterford Glassworks.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time Robert Peel established the Metropolitan Police Service in London, the first modern police force.
