19th century East Anglia pine blanket box
A fabulous Victorian blanket box in pine with original stain finish which is simulated flame mahogany. The chest is in very good original condition with original iron handles, lock and replacement key. Inside there is a small till or candle box. There is a pencil inscription on the lid of ‘Arthur White, Chatteris, June 9th 1889’.
