A fine quality late 19th century oak collector's cabinet containing seven graduated drawers each with two brass knobs standing on squat square section feet. Five of the drawers are compartmentalised lengthwise with corrugated cardboard lining, and three of these five drawers have compartmentalised lift out trays. Curiously, each drawer front differs in colouring and figuring to the next suggesting that the cabinet may have been made from left over pieces of oak timber. It is, nevertheless, beautifully constructed with precise dovetail joints.

This would most likely be used as a floor standing cabinet though it can be located on a sturdy table. It would make a superb jewellery or watch cabinet.

Condition: Very good antique condition with no observable repairs. The cabinet has been cleaned and waxed in our workshop.
