19th Century Folk Art Painting Of A Ship.

Painted on copper this folk art ship represents HMS .Soverign which sailed the seas from 1635-1696.

Based on a classic print by H.A.Muth.

The copper plate has been nailed to old boards and framed with what looks like an old collection label to the back.

It is signed but unfortunately II can not find any reference at all.

Good folky item that looks great hanging above a stick chair.
