19th Century French Ebonised Commode %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
This lovely commode is ebonised throughout, the surface contrasting beautifully with the fine white marble top and the brass moulding highlights which are employed throughout. The commode is arranged in the breakfront style. The marble top has also been shaped to reflect this as well mirroring the everted corners where the columnar trusses terminate. The piece stands very well indeed on four tapering toupie feet.

This would fit well into a contemporary interior.
