A very decorative French giltwood armchair, the beautifully carved frame highlights the circular form of the back and seat. The arms are carved with acanthus leaves and gently padded for comfort. The chair is raised on elegant fluted legs. This piece has been reupholstered in our workshop and finished with double piping, the duckegg blue linen fabric compliments the mellow gilding. The chair is in very good condition, the frame is sturdy and solid. There is some lovely wear to the gilding, adding to the character. Detailed photos show the frame at the back of the chair. A comfortable and elegant armchair that would add style to any room.
