An exceptional and most elegant French 19th Century French mahogany and brass dessert console having fine detail and original marbles to the top and the under tier shelf. The frieze, with brass panel insets to the corners, has one long drawer with drop bar handles, brass mouldings and fine ebony and brass string detail. The top is supported by four brass fluted columns with brass capitals and plinths. The plinth at the base has finely inlaid brass and ebony stringing. Raised on toupie feet with ormolu sabots and tops.
