A delightful oriental display table or a Victorian sewing box, this unusual little table combines both. It is decorated in the Japanese taste with a lacquered top and side panels depicting birds, butterflies and blossoms. In good structural order, there are no wobbles or loose joints, the fall front opens up to form a shelf. The hinged top opens to reveal the traditional Victorian sewing box interior, in very good original condition with green satin and yellow satin trim. There is some slight wear to the side panels as shown in the photographs, but the overall condition is good. A really decorative and useful table to add individuality to ant=y scheme.
