19th Century mahogany and ormolu armchair French mahogany armchair %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
19th Century French mahogany and ormolu open armchair upholstered in a dark green leather with brass stud decoration, the shaped and scroll back having patraes on either side, the leather padded arms terminating with larger patraes, the arms supported on superb quality ormolu sphinx head mounts, the chair rails and legs having ormolu leaf decoration, supported on square legs with the front legs having claw feet. Circa 1840.
