19th Century Mahogany Bookcase / Cabinet Mahogany Bookcase Cabinet %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Very cute 19th Century Mahogany Bookcase with lovely glazed doors all with original glass. The cabinet has three shelves that are all adjustable as the inside of the end panels are slotted. There is a drop latch fitted to the left hand door and a lock, with key, fitted to the right. The shelves have a bead fitted to the top face to prevent plates from slipping forward, as I expect this bookcase has been used as a display cabinet in the past. So it could be used for either. A shelf has been professionally fitted at a later date inside the cornice on the very top to enable things to be placed on top of the bookcase. This really is a lovely cute piece of usable antique furniture that would look good in any home. Delivery is subsidised and charged from £45.00 to mainland England and Wales.(Terms and conditions apply - please contact us for details)
