19th Century Mahogany Drum Table 19th-century early 20th-century Edwardian period %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
This fine-quality late 19th-century, early 20th-century Edwardian period mahogany drum table showcases exceptional craftsmanship and elegant Georgian design. It features an original burgundy gilt-tooled leather inset on a circular mahogany top. The frieze includes three oak-lined drawers and three dummy drawers, all fitted with brass lion-head ring handles. The table is supported by a refined gun barrel-turned central stem, which is complemented by four elegant splayed legs and original brass lion-claw castors. This piece not only serves as a stunning centre piece for any refined interior but also exhibits a lovely patina that attests to its history. In very good sturdy condition, England, circa 1890.
