19th Century Oil On Canvas With Nasturtiums
Very beautiful and decorative 19th century oil on canvas painting of an interior scene with nasturtium flowers.
Lovely warm colours to this painting and very well painted, capturing the reflection of the nasturtiums in the gilded mirror behind.
The painting is unsigned, but certainly an accomplished artist, well framed and in good condition with no tears to the canvas.
Measuring:
31 1/2 inches or 80 cm height
26 1/4 inches or 66.5 cm wide Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
