RARE mid 19th century toleware tray of quite large size. Rare purple background with very nice design painted scene. Most of these trays are black background.

Very good original condition with no damage and no later touching up.

Has been on a stand at some time as there are two pieces of wood glued to the back which can be easily removed if required.
