19th Century Reading or Music Stand

A very attractive piece, the stand has a heavy iron base with a brass upright column which carries a small half round mahogany shelf and at the top an adjustable arm with supporting a mahogany book rest with page clasps

This handsome Music Stand would also be a useful piece to hold notes for public speaking or perhaps as a menu holder in a Bistro Bar

The stand is 44” high(adjustable) and 25” across at floor level
