19thC French Pitch Pine Huffer Cupboard
A 19th century huffer cupboard of French origin.
What's' A huffer cupboard? It is a proving or warming cupboard for loaves of bread.
Originally it would have been open backed and possible on wheels to enable it to be wheeled in front of the oven.
This would have allowed the loaves to prove before baking or even warm up prior to eating.
It now has a nice back and if there were wheels these have long since gone.
The heat over the years have given the pine a lovely mellow appearance.
This huffer cupboard has one has one straight side and one curved side to allow it to be moved as close to the oven as possible.
Condition...
No loose joints or sign of worm.
Historical repairs.
Comes complete with key and is lockable

RETURNS...
We will gladly accept returns within 14 days of delivery if the item is not as described or broken in transit.
However, if you just simply change your mind and there is nothing wrong with the item then we do not accept returns.
