Handsome mid 19th.c. mahogany library table or writing desk c.1850. Good sized work surface with a tooled burgundy leather skiver, rounded corners and crossbanded edge. Over two useful oak lined drawers in the front edge with neat little turned mahogany knobs. On splendid turned, tapering and reeded legs in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster and raised on the original brass cup castors marked ‘Collinson’. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
