19thC Rare Saint-Vivant Armagnac Bottle

With traditional tilted-neck and brown wax seal, the hand written label reading “premier grand cru d'eau de vie d'armagnac vieillie in chene noir de gascogne reserve du manoir de saint-vivant”.
Hard to date precisely, for we have been in touch with armagnac experts, this beautiful and rare bottle would have contained a fine first vintage armagnac matured in the oak black Gascony reserve of Count Henry of Peyrouse (mansion living saint) which is a very old brand claiming roots back to 1559.
Although sadly empty, condition is superb, the glass is clear with no clouding and of good colour with no chips or cracks, though the cork is partially stuck in the neck. The wax seal remains partially in tact.
A very appealing and scarce bottle that would add a great deal to a collection or of course employed decoratively, used in a space in any kitchen or cellar for instance.
