Delightful litle 19th.c. rosewood settee or window seat retaining its original decorative upholstery c.1870. Low backrest and seat with woolwork covers featuring large colourful flower heads, and a long tassel braid. On a rosewood base with carved detail at the centre and short legs ending in a scrolling foot and white ceramic castors. Some obvious wear to the covers otherwise excellent condition. The seat has been patched and re webbed and a new chord trim attached. The frame has been cleaned and polished in our workshops.
