This 19thc. walnut Batchelors chest was made in the 19th.century.
Standing on straight bracket feet the Batchelors chest is of the usual form with the flap on the top that lifts forward to rest on the pull out lopers that support it which then provide the surface that was for a valet to prepare a gentleman’s attire for the day.
It has a pair of half width drawers along the top and a further 3 graduated drawers below.
This can be used for many uses in the modern home and is sure to enhance wherever it sits.
