This is an elegant pair of Vintage Silver Plate Wine Goblets with Gilt Interiors. The goblets are of simple but stylish form, with round bases, slender stems and tall tapering bowls.

The goblets were retailed by Casa Pupo of London and date to around the 1960s/70s. Casa Pupo was set up in London's Pimlico Road in the early 1960s by business partners Geoffrey Dobson and Jose "Pupo" Casasus. The store specialised in importing items from Spain and Potugal and were particularly famous for their ceramics, although they sold homewares of all sorts. They became very successful at first, opening a number of other branches, but were bought out in the late 1970s.

Condition is good, with no dings or dents, no significant plate loss and just the superficial surface wear that you would expect with use and the passage of time. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The goblets are each 18.5cm / 7.3ins high and 7.5cm / 2.9ins in diameter across the top rims. The pair together weigh 404g / 14.25oz.

The bases of the goblets are marked Casa Pupo and Spain.
