3 Japanese Gouache Paintings on Silk Framed as 1

We are offering for sale this lovely set of three Japanese Gouache Paintings on Silk, which are mounted and framed together and feature Geishas. Certain details on the costume of the ladies, have been highlighted in gold. Gouache is an opaque form of watercolour.
The top painting is of a Maiko or apprentice Geisha dressed in traditional costume, with very high wedged sandals, called okobo walking along beneath some cherry trees in blossom, on the banks of a river. It is only Maiko that wear okobo. A couple of petals from the blossom have fallen on the blue coat of the man walking in the opposite direction.
The middle painting depicts several people walking in the middle of falling snow. The Geisha to the left is wearing tabi, which are Japanese socks with the big toe separate to the rest of the toes, which enables the wearer to wear a roman type sandal, such as the ones she is wearing called geta, which are basically a block of wood carved into two 'teeth' with a cloth strap that goes between the big toe and the rest. Although not usually worn in snow these days, they were, in the 1800s. She is keeping dry beneath a parasol and is wearing traditional costume.
The third painting is of a man and a geisha wearing traditional clothing walking along a street when snow is falling. They both carry parasols and are wearing geta, but these appear to have a front piece like clogs, about which we can find no information.
The paintings are newly mounted and are newly framed in a 1 1/2" ornate gilt frame, which will be supplied wired and ready to hang.
Image size: 6 3/4" x 5 5/8" - 17.15cm x 14.3cm each
Frame size: 27 1/2" x 13 1/4" - 69.85cm x 33.65cm
Medium: Gouache on silk
Condition: Very good. The mount and frame are new.
