4 Door Book/Case Inverted Breakfront
4 Door Book/Case Inverted Break-front. Early 20thC
look a stunning break-front inverted book/case, made in solid mahogany with inlaid doors and drawers, plus an oval Prince of Wales feather plume inlaid into the door panel.
The base has four cock beaded and inlaid drawers fitted with brass swan neck handles over four doors enclosing three separate compartments, two of which are fitted with fixed shelf's, the centre compartment is open with no shelf.
The top has four, 8 pained and glazed doors of architectural construction and design enclosing three separate compartments, each with 3 solid shelf's on an adjustable ladder lopper system.
Solid oak back boards with solid oak floors and ceiling.
All 8 doors are fitted with working locks and keys.
Having its original polish and patina this book/case is a wonderful colour (see pictures)
This book/case is solid in all its joints with NO breaks and NO woodworm, needing no restoration, this is ready for use.
