This is a tall antique 4-fold privacy screen. A French, walnut and glass room divider in Art Nouveau taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
Quality walnut stocks present fine grain interest and rich caramel hues
Original glass plate with clear, bright appearance and in good condition
Striking cascading panels, the tallest standing at an impressive 6' 6''
Opens outwards to a width of 6' upon brass hinges - ideal for mounting behind a bed
Shaped antique glass sits within the serpentine upper frame
Folds neatly for stowage, with a depth of 10.5cm (4.25'')
Decorated with appealing scrolled leaf relief carvings
Silk cotton upholstery with deep saffron hues, with foliate bouquet pattern
