6” Della Robbia two handled Vase c1897-1901
A very distinctive and beautiful antique earthenware vase with an incised or sgraffito decoration of acanthus leaves, made by Della Robbia Pottery, Birkenhead, England at the turn of the 19th century.
The underside of the base is incised with the letters "DR" (Della Robbia) the painted initials "A.S." for the painter, Annie Smith and a galleon afloat in the waves, representing the Della Robbia Pottery in Birkenhead.
Condition is very good with no visible sign of damage or restoration that I can see
Size: 6” tall
weight before packing: 350g Come and see before you buy. We do not arrange furniture shipment, but are happy to fit in with arrangements you wish to make.
We do ship smaller items. Shipping costs on request
Openings times are 10.30 to 4.00 Wednesday to Saturday (Closed on Monday and Tuesday )
