6 Victorian Mahogany Balloon Back Chairs
A magnificent set of superb quality, balloon back dining chairs. With their traditional back design, central carved slat, overstuffed sprung seat, and turned and reeded front legs. These chairs are all in superb condition for their age circa 1880, and are finished in a tapestry style material. If the material is not to your liking, all that is required is for the top coat of material to be replaced as all the original horse hair stuffing, springs and webbing are in good condition. Please be aware that there is an old break to the back of one of these chairs which we have photographed. This is a very old restoration, but extremely solid and well repaired and does not distract from this wonderful set of chairs.
