Offered for sale is this good quality set of eight American mahogany dining chairs consisting of six single and two carver chairs dating to the late part of the 19th or early 20th century. The chairs have a makers mark along with the address of St.Pauls, Minneopolis. The high back chairs have flame mahogany panels enclosed by ebony stringing and satinwood crossbanding, with newly reupholstered drop in seats above fine turned and reeded supports with uncharacteristic (English) double stretchers. The chairs have been cleaned, revived and waxed and are in excellent showroom condition.
