Offered for sale is this good set of eight mahogany Chippendale style dining chairs dating to about 1930 and consisting of six single and two carver chairs. The chairs have a shaped and carved back rail above a pierced and carved centre splat over newly reupholstered drop-in seats with moulded seat rails above carved cabriole supports with acanthus carved shoulders and ball & claw feet. The chairs are offered in excellent showroom condition with all joints firm and the woodwork cleaned, revived and waxed. The seats have been reupholstered in a neutral gold John Lewis fabric.
