Set of 8 large Georgian style rush seat oak dining chairs. Six chairs plus two matching carver armchairs. High backs with turned nipple-top rear stiles, shaped and carved cresting rails and two rows of turned spindles. Shaped arms to the carvers, raised on turned supports. Generously proportioned traditional woven rush seats. Turned front legs with a shaped detail at the foot, joined with turned stretchers to all four sides. Good sturdy set of chairs, very good colour and condition.
