A very nice and very good quality, antique, Edwardian, Scottish 9CT Gold Pocket Watch made by D A Paterson of Edinburgh and dating from c1907.
The 9CT Gold case is hallmarked with the case maker's mark "JR" for Rotherham & Sons (John Rotherham) , "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold, the Birmingham town mark and date letter "h" for 1907/08.
The white enamel dial has the hours in Roman numerals, it is in excellent condition.
The movement is signed by the maker "D A Paterson, 31 Leven Street, Edinburgh" and has the serial number 199342. It is stem wound and pin set.
The watch measures 37mm in diameter (across the case). The weight is 41.5g
