A 9CT Gold Masonic Medal.
The medal is suspended from a 9CT gold hanger with the word "Founder" surmounted by a Scottish Thistle.
The border of the medal with the name of the Scottish Masonic Lodge
"Lodge Tobermory Saint Mary's No. 1310"
The reverse of the medal is inscribed "Bro J Carmichael, Lodge 180".
The rear of the medal is hallmarked with the maker's mark "FSR", the Glasgow town mark, "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold and the date letter "c" for 1925/26. The suspender with the maker's mark "FSR" and "9CT".
