An eye-catching, fine and impressive antique 8.9 carat amethyst and seed pearl pendant. This Art Deco pendant has been crafted in 9k yellow gold. The piece suspends from a fine 9k gold belcher chain which measures 42 cm (over 16 inches). The clasp works perfectly. This stylish antique was assayed at Sheffield in 1932. It is in superb condition & also fully hallmarked showing the maker's mark, assay, fineness of gold & date year.
Pendant : Length of drop almost 4.7 cm. Width 1.2 cm.
Chain: Length just over 16 inches.
The presentation case is adorable - an elegant leather clad case. The leather has been rendered to look like walnut veneer & this appearance is further enhanced by gilt accents which make the little box look quite grand! The ancient little box is in super condition. The interior base is lined with black velvet and the interior lid has 'Telehone 2445 14 & 16 Corn Market HALIFAX Lister Horsfall Ltd DIAMOND EXPERTS & JEWELLERS' printed on clean cream coloured silk.
