9Kt Gold Longines Men’s Wristwatch Swiss 1944
A gentleman’s 9Kt gold Longines bracelet wristwatch, made in Switzerland in 1944. The wristwatch is signed Longines on the dial, the and on the movement.
DIAL: The white enamel dial has gold luminous Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions and blued hands. The dial is signed: “Longines, Swiss Made”.
MOVEMENT: The 13 jewels manual wind movement is signed: Longines, Swiss Made” and numbered: 6783845. The movement is in great working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.
CASE: The watch lies in a 9 Kt yellow gold case. The inner side of the case is stamped for gold: 375 and “British Made” and has the casemakers initials: G.A.S. The inner side of the case is hallmarked for Chester 1944. The back of the case is engraved: “From Mum and Dad 15-9-45, on your 21st Birthday”.
