A mid 18th century Chippendale period brass-bound mahogany oval wine cooler or jardinière retaining the original twin drop ring handles and supported on an oval base with square moulded legs headed by fine C scroll angle brackets and terminating in original brass and leather castors and with later brass liner. This piece is in very good original condition and is of good colour and patina. 610 mm wide, 460 mm deep and 570 mm high. Circa 1760.
