A fantastic solid mahogany Edwardian desk Mahogany Edwardian Desk %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
This desk is in the Cheriton style and the quality of the desk is superb. The desk has been recently cleaned and polished and the leather is original with no rips or tears but has a nice sign of ware and use. Solid mahogany drawer linings and has 4 drawers either side with a long drawer in the middle. It stands on 8 elegant feet in the classical style which lift it off the floor by 6 inches. The bottom 3 drawers are all cock beeded and the top and the top 3 have a lovely readed design. The hardware is all original brass with loral leaf design to the the droppers which is consistent with the carving to the front and topped with 4 carved floral cartouches. The desk also benefits from being free standing as it has a lovely polished back aswell. Would grace any study or living room. Circa 1910.
