Consisting of 2 carver and 6 standard chairs, these chairs are extremely well made and stand on fine turned and reeded front legs with drop in seats that have been recently re-upholstered in linen. The carved backs are exceptionally well carved with "S" scrolls to either side and an Anthemion in the center. In very good condition and of good colour. 460mm wide, 510mm deep, 860mm high and 480mm seat height. Circa 1825 W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries.
