A French rosewood mantel antique clock with brass inlay. A decorative cast gilt brass surround to the enamel dial signed 'Poton Paris'. 'Moon' blued steel hands. A silk suspension 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a bell. Signed 'Poton Paris' to the mechanism. Circa 1850.
