A Gorge Case Striking Carriage Clock by Jacot
A quality Gorge cased striking carriage antique clock by noted maker, Henri Jacot. A great find with the original numbered box and numbered key. An enamel dial with 5 minute outer markers and blued steel hands. A large bevelled glass top aperture with the original lever escapement. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong and signed to the backplate. Numbered 12865 to the mechanism, case and key. Circa 1890.
